Today I would like to talk about Notting Hill carnival. Notting hill carnival is one of the biggest carnivals in the world. Notting hill is the place where is in west London. Hundreds of thousands of people take parts in the carnival and streets are full of crowd. Thousands of people make lines as more than 70 floats, dancers and drummers wind their way through the usually quiet streets of Notting Hill. Their costumes are gorgeous and attractive. It is like that there are a lot of small parties in the streeets. The atmosphere of the carnival is so fantastic and impressive, so there has no big riots since the origin of this carnival. On the other hand, we can say that millions of people gather and it is an unusual situation. More than 6500 police officers are on duty for this and they keep the safety. Last year police said that 86 people were arrested in this carnival.
Londners hope that no one is in a bad way for Notting Hill Carnival. Notting Hill Carnival will continue forever.
